Get Writing Now!(DURHAM, March 3, 2020) - Poetry, prose, or non-fiction - any kind of illustrated story can be entered in the NHPBS KIDS WRITERS CONTEST!

This popular contest for children, sponsored by New Hampshire PBS, invites children in grades K - 5 to explore the power of creativity by writing and illustrating original stories.
Contest guidelines and writing resources are available at nhptv.org/kidswrite; the deadline to submit stories is March 31, 2020.

A panel of local judges will select first, second and third place winners in April. All the stories submitted will be posted on the NHPBS KIDS WRITERS CONTEST website.

The NHPBS KIDS WRITERS CONTEST is part of the New Hampshire PBS commitment to promoting literacy and a love of reading, writing, and creative expression in children.

Nearly 20,000 students have participated in the NHPBS KIDS WRITERS CONTEST since 1994, and 10 local children have been recognized for their work with national awards.
